Nice work this week on mileage!!

So we had the taco shells! It was really fun. They didn't quite work out how I wanted them to because we had 2 things against us: we only had the non-prebaked tortillas and they were way too small. So they ended up bubbling quite a bit. However, they were hard/crunchy, but just unable to stay up to hold a taco salad, so we just put them in bowls. We used black beans and pulled pork under the salad, tomatoes, etc. We put the pork in on Friday night with BBQ sauce and let it simmer all night and all Saturday. I'm not sure if you guys eat much meat, but the pulled pork was fun to put in the shells. They were yummy! :)

That is good to know that the tortillas that we need to bake don't work as well. I was wondering that. They taste better than the pre baked ones. Try it again with the pre-baked tortillas. I think you will like them. Growing up my dad would fry them. They had a lot of fat. The baked way is so much healthier for you.
