When do you want to run a 5K with me? :) Oh yah, and looking at your shoe mileage (691) tell Matt to forego one of his trips to Wasatch Running so that you can buy some shoes for crying out loud. (I can hear him in the background saying "I've tried to get her to buy new shoes!") :)

You are so funny!! You know us very well. I was looking at my shoes and they still look great. I guess that being on the tread mill doesn't wear them out as fast. There is no wear on the bottoms of the shoes at all. My problem is that my heel wears the back part of the shoe. Infact, there is nothing left on the shoe. All of the padding and fabric is gone. But it hasn't seemed to bother me at all. So I told Matthew that I might as well still wear them until they bother me.
As for the 5K... I can probably handle that. We should set it up!! I will be up for the challenge. Maybe the running bug will bite me in the rear if I start with the 5K races.

That is so funny about the shoes! I remember Matt telling us about that on some run sometime.
Yay! I'm glad you want to do one! So...do you want to do like an Independence Day one since there are so many? So a little over a month away (I can't believe that). Consult with your in-house coach and let me know LOL. :)

Murray City has a 5K on the 4th. You run along the parade route. Every year as we sit to wait for the parade to start, we see the runners. And every year we say that we need to do it. It is $15. Let me know what you think.

OK, that sounds fun! I'm trying to get my litter sister to come as well, so we'll see. Can you think of anyone else that may want to run it? I'll see what the other girls on the blog are up to on the holiday as well.
